Judges
Peg Anderson
- MI
I live and work on a sheep farm in Northern Michigan with my husband, Jim. I have been sharing my days with sheep and border collies for the last 25 years and competing in sheepdog trials since 2003.
I have participated in numerous USBCHA National Finals since 2007 and represented the US at the World Sheepdog Trials in 2011 and again in 2014. I have been fortunate to spend a good portion of the last 5 years in Scotland working alongside shepherds in the Scottish Borders, learning about the history, breeding, training, and necessity of these amazing dogs.
Judging sheepdog trials has given me the opportunity to study a wide range of border collies and styles of handling over the years. I have judged the USBCHA National Sheepdog Finals twice, as well as Kentucky’s Bluegrass Classic, the Vashon Sheepdog Classic, numerous Open trials across the country, and a few in Scotland as well.
I am very much looking forward to being part of the Texas Finals this year.
