  1. Steve asked that I get the following information out to everyone:

    Total Prize money is $10,000

There will be two provided meals -
    1) Supper at our house next door on Saturday night -  We will be serving Texas BBQ with Tea and water to drink.  If you prefer an alcoholic beverage please bring it. – served from 6 until 7
    2) Supper provided at Sealand Seafood and Steak in a large private room -  served between 6:30 and 8:00  Sunday night (stay as late as you want)  The meal and soft drinks are provided.  You can buy alcohol at the bar.  It is 5 minutes from the field at 2100 Highway 290 East,  Brenham TX 77833

Lunches will be catered every day in the large tent.  They will include Chili, Stew, King Ranch Chicken, and BBQ.  We are requesting a $5 donation per meal for lunch.

Entry to the trial filed for campers and RVs is at 5150 Mustang Road. There will be two large orange construction cones at the entrance.  The green gate will be open and you will enter over a cattle guard.  Follow the driveway in and you will turn right for parking.  Please drive through the orange cones to the top of the hill.  We are concerned about rain and the higher you drive up on the hill, the more solid the ground is.  Please drive to the area you see campers.  PLEASE NOTE  if you would like to come in early that is fine.  If you have questions about anything please call me at 713-301-9778.

The winners of all three classes will receive a buckle donated by Jill Hefner – THANK YOU JILL!

Kevin Evans is donating sticks to the winner of the Open and Nursery Classes.  They are made by Arwyn George -  He is a champion stick maker in Wales .  THANK YOU KEVIN!

We are expecting some rain and will have a tent at the set up pen, and near the post.  Lunch will be served in the large tent.

During the trial, if you have complaints and concerns, please see Jamie Mitchell or Russell McCord.  If you have complements, please see me or Becky.

Best wishes!, Steve & Becky Drake, 713-301-9778
