  • Sheep: lightly worked White Dorper Lambs for OPEN and all other classes will be dog broke White Dorper Cross Ewes.

  • Definition of Classes:  
  • 1. Open - full course - Outrun - Lift, Fetch, Drive, Pen and Shed
     
  • 2. Nursery - full course (no shed)
     
  • 3. Open Ranch - full course (no shed)
     
  • 4. Ranch - Outrun - Lift, Fetch, one leg of drive and pen (No Open Handlers)
     
  • 5. *Pro-Ranch - Outrun - Lift, Fetch, one leg of drive and pen - (Open and Open Ranch Handlers only)  
     
  • 6. Novice - Outrun - Lift, Fetch and Pen
  • *Pro-Ranch(not sanctiioned by TSDA)- This class has been added to the “Sand Rock Ranch Fall Classic SDT” as a separate Ranch class for Open and Open Ranch Handlers.    It also protects the novice Ranch Handlers from competing with the more advanced handlers. 
  • We will run Pro-Ranch right after the regular Ranch Class.
  • Ranch, Pro-Ranch and Novice will run on Saturday and Sunday.
  • All other classes - all three days.
