It was brought to the board’s attention that some members believed that the existing dress code is a bit out dated.  The board agrees and has made the following changes to its proposed TSDA Rules revisions:

Section IV (General Rules & Guidelines)  IV. D. 12. Was added and reads as follows:

12.         Handlers may be required to be properly attired for any trial event.  Handlers are to use good judgment and take into account the weather and the magnitude of the event in selecting attire.

The prior dress code provision (IV.G.6) was deleted; and read as follows:

6.           Handlers should observe the dress code, for each run, when requested by the trial host and the request is posted on the web site. Handlers not observing dress code requirements can be prohibited from going to the post for each run that the dress code is not observed.
Dress Code:
i.            Men - Long pants and sports coat should be worn while competing.
ii.           Ladies - Dress jacket should be worn while competing.
