Class Order: We are going to have the open handlers meeting at 6;45 AM and the first dog will be on the field at 7;00 AM. Anybody wanting to walk the field will need to do it on Thursday afternoon. On the open ranch field the handlers meeting will be at 8;00 Am and they will have time to walk the field before 8; AM so do not ask to walk it after the handlers meeting.

  • Friday Evening: There will be a social hour with snacks after the last runs at the barn.
    ALONG WITH THE SOCIAL HOUR AND SILENT AUCTION THERE WILL BE A LIGHT MEAL.  KING RANCH, CHICKEN, RANCH BEANS, SALAD, ROLLS, FLAN  OR  POUND CAKE, SOFT DRINKS OR TEA
    ALL PREPARED BY CHEF JACKIE.  BRING YOUR APPETITE AND ADDITIONAL DRINK OF YOUR CHOICE!!

  • Number of go-rounds:   Open Ranch, Ranch, Novice and Nursery will have two (2) runs combined scores to determine winner.    Open will have two (2) runs combined scores to determine 40% run back for doulbe lift finals.
  • Annual membership and banquet Nov. 17th at Jake & Dorothy's Cafe, 406 North Washington St., Stephenville, TX.  76401.   Menu:  Chicken Fried Steak with all the trimmings.  Pay at meeting.

  • OR, Ranch & Novice classes will be the field behind Ashcraft home.
  • Nursery will run on big field after the Open.
  • Remember to return all revolving trophies.  
  • To qualify for the TSDA Finals Trial, a dog must run in five (5) trials. A Nursery dog must run in five (5) Nursery trials.
  • Dog of the Year points available at all eligible trials and the End of the Year Finals.

  • Running order will be posted on Nov 10th.
  • Total premium money:    Day money , 1st & 2nd go-rounds 20%,  average(finals) 60%.
  • Pay only 1 entry fee per dog.     Payback - $40.00 per entry. .
  • Cancellation deadline:  Nov. 3rd  – after that date entries will not be refunded.
  • Premium checks will be mailed following week.
  • Belt Bucks for 1st place in Open, Open Ranch,, Ranch, Novice, Nursery.
  • RV parking available, but no hookups.
  • Replacement cost of sheep:  $250 per head.

                                                                      Hospitality Guidelines

       • Pick up your doggies poop.\
       •Trailer trash stays in your trailer,(that's not personal)(no trash receptacle will available).
       • Trailers need to be parked in rows,(like corn on a cob) along the round roof barn. (easy to get out, in case of  rain.)
       • Trash barrels will be available for normal trash (not exceptional trash).
      • Maintain clean area around secretaries trailer. (this not a doggy litter area).

From the intersection of US Hwy 67 and 281 (Hard Eight BQ on the nw corner).  Take US Hwy 67 toward Glen Rose.  Go approximately 5 miles and turn left on CR 175.  Go to first entrance on right.
