1. A handler may earn no more than 28 points before being required to move to a higher class.
  2.  A Ranch dog that is sold to a Novice handler may compete in the Novice Class.
    Once the dog earns 14 points it is no longer eligible to compete in the Novice class;
    The dog retains the points earned in the Ranch Class.
    If the dog is moved back to the Ranch Class, it retains all points earned in both classes.
